Though the game is about 15 years old, its revelation at the E3 show held this year was what caught most attention among gamers. Grim Fandango is the game we are talking about. Sony Corp has taken into consideration the games quality and decided to re-master it a fresh. Grim Fandango is a wacky adventure game designed by Lucas Arts and Tim Schafer. Sony plans to bring the game to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, TNW news reports.

In the event, Fans were given a sneak peak of the game in a short trailer, though the re-mastering process is ongoing hence the graphics of the short preview were still not the finished but they still gave a sense of what Double Fine has Planned for the game.

Looking back at the games development, its original version was created at a very high resolution and the compressed to run on the PC hence one would expect once played on the PS4's original mode, one can place their bets that the game will look so much better than it did 15 years ago and gamers who are old enough to have had the chance to play the game can attest to that, TNW news further reported.

The game has a special feature that allow players to turn on the re-mastered controls in the settings for those who require better visuals, IGN news reports.

According to the gameplay, it revealed that only protagonist Manny and a deck of cards got the full re-mastered treatment in the upcoming Sony Corp.'s version of Grim Fandango as the background stayed the same, though Double Fine are plotting of how to re-do some aspects of the background art. From the look of things so far, the new items do seem to be out of place but things do seem to be changing as development progresses so there is no cause for alarm.

On a high note the game seems to retain its retro feel even when undergoing re-mastering which is a good thing as the thrill and vigor of playing the game will be retained. The re-mastering will feature new lighting and other rendering effects. To that effect the studio is under wraps of recording new sound tracks which will replace some samples with orchestral parts, according to IGN news.

The game is also set to launch its PC, Mac and Linux version soon.
