Switchfoot's "Fading" West Debuts at Number 6 on Billboard Top 200, Number 1 on Christian Charts, Tour Dates Announced
Switchfoot kicked off 2014 with a bang with the release of their new album Fading West. This week the album entered the Billboard 200 chart at number 6, number 2 on the Rock Album charts and number 1 on the Christian/Gospel charts. The new record marks the Grammy Award-winning band's third top 10 album on the Billboard charts. Selling over 5.5 million copies total, the band's 2011 release Vice Verses peaked at number 8 while their 2013 endeavor The Beautiful Letdown charted at number 3.
As a companion project with the album the band filmed a video of the same name profiling the band's other passion, surfing. Fading West the film is currently available on iTunes, Instant Video and Amazon.
