Windows 10 Release Date and Other News: Windows to Redeem Themselves by Bringing Back Iconic Yet Familiar Features
Windows 10 may be Microsoft's lifesaver. The company has been slammed by users for its sudden change in course and interface when it released Windows 8, scaring off most of its consumers with its
tile-based screen best for touch surfaces like tablets and Smartphones. But it seems that they have learned from that mistake and promises that Windows 10 will be better than the last.
The Windows 10 operating system is reported to be bringing back old, yet familiar, component while still maintaining the simplistic feel brought by Windows 8.
One of the biggest things noted and reported is that the Start button will be making a comeback. Those who have been using the previous OS will know that this was omitted in favor of the Start screen. Not everyone was pleased by that change and so Microsoft decided to bringing it back on Windows 10 but with a twist as it will still incorporate the tile elements from Windows 8.
Another thing that the Windows 10 operating system will be bringing back is the desktop. Like the Start button, this was also removed on Windows 8 in favor for the Start screen. This is a great change for desktop users who weren't too hot on the Start screen before.
The Windows 10 operating system will not just feature old components but will also include new ones. The continuum mode is a new feature that will cater for those laptop-tablet hybrid gadgets by enabling users to switch from desktop mode to touch screen mode and vice versa easily.
Windows 10 release date has been seen for 2015. Keep your eyes alert for any latest news about the upcoming operating system!
