'Counter-Strike Nexon : Zombies' Free-to-Play Game Now Available for PC's; Improved Design and Bug Fixes Just Like Ordinary Shooter Games
Nexon and Valve partnership has resulted to a new "Counter Strike" shooting game edition that is currently available for free. IGN reported that "Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies," a 'Nexon's undead-centric free-to-play first-person shooter' PC edition is now available.
"Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies" feature competitive PvP and PvE modes like the ones present in the original version of the shooting game. Valve, the game developer, also has improved the latest free version of the well-renowned game.
Bug fixes and design changes were done to give the players a better gaming experience. Making of orders and the synthesis of crafting were also improved in "Counter Strike Nexon" edition. In this newest version of the game, that is now available in Windows PC, there will no penalties in a gamers' points anymore even after disassembling an item or leaving a match.
Steam Community listed the particular improvements done in the new "Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies" aside from the addition of literal 'walking dead' enemies in the game. Aside from incurring penalty fees, 'Lobby UI is now permanently in windowed mode.' This means a game will automatically be in full screen once a player started his gameplay.
"Nexon: Zombies" also upgraded its chatting capability with an increased 60 characters. There is also a regular update on the List of Daily Missions. Game developers also changed the color coding to game mode names and the buttons for in game.
In terms of bug fixes, 'quick start button now correctly searches for matching game rooms when player is not ready inside a channel'. The music that is once missing in Challenge maps has already been installed and the Find option, who gamers' found not functional, was also removed.
Despite this system and design improvements, "Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies" got negative feedback for shooting-game-buffs in fact, Thebitbag even called the free-play game a 'mess'. "Unfortunately my first impressions with the game were poor - a confusing interface, an engine based on Half-Life 1, and poor performance all yielded a subpar result in game play."
According to the review, additional characters and artilleries are useless because "Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies" graphics still looks the same as the game's original version. The game also has two co-op modes, Human Scenario and Zombie Shelter. The first co-op presents a game against computer-generated enemies while the Zombie Shelter requires player to secure a cover while shooting the undead.
Gamers can spend their game cash on guns, artilleries and 'crazy skins. But there is nothing special with this game's features.
