'The Evil Within' Game and Platform Specs Review: Why It's One of the Scariest Game Ever!

The trailer for the game "The Evil Within" proves that it is going to be one of the scariest game available today. The trailer did say, "'The Evil Within' is an unforgettable experience where every encounter, can end your life can in a blink of an eye."

According to VideoGamer, the latest game "The Evil Within" gives a feel that is very much similar to "Silent Hill." The "paranormal" setting of the game gave some certain feeling of dread. Creator Shinji Mikami knows when to really give that punch of fear - slowly at first then came in the punch of fear and panic.

"The Evil Within" is divided into chapters - each was prepared skillfully in 2.53:1 ratio. The game is enjoyable but previous work of Mikami proves to be better. The game is about survival, but not in a superhero kind of way. It's survival in a way that gamers will just want to get out of there and escape. The enemies just keep coming and that's the only way to do - escape.

According to Ecumenical News,  Bethesda devs posted that "Shinji Mikami and the team at Tango designed The Evil Within to be played at 30 fps and to utilize an aspect ratio of 2.35:1 for all platforms." It is also important to know that if you will play the game in PC, it is recommended to have 4 GB of Video RAM so that players can play "The Evil Within" at 1080p.

According to Bethesda, "The Evil Within" will have features such as brutal traps and twisted creature, unknown threats in an uncertain world, and of course, the new face of horror.

In interview with Tango Gameworks, Mikami mentioned that the inspiration for the game "The Evil Within" draws from famous horror films such as "Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "The Evil Dead," "Dawn of the Dead," "Jaws" and even "Alien." Mikami said that he's a self-professed horror-fanatic and he particularly love Dracula and Frankenstein when he was younger. No wonder "The Evil Within" is one of the scariest game out there. Mikami added that horror films traces its roots in ancient history.
