Samsung Galaxy S6 vs iPhone 6 Comparison: Rumored Super AMOLED Screen Will Be Larger than Apple's Biggest Smartphone; Release Date Will Happen Soon
The tech-royal rumble is not over yet. Apple may have had their record breaking sales after iPhone 6 and 6 plus was launched but Samsung will not retreat and surrender. In fact, rumors said that the Korea-based company is set to have its revenge through Galaxy S6.
If you are one of those who resist the temptation of getting your iPhone 6 until Galaxy S6 is available, so you can compare them, here are the important details that you may want to take into consideration. iPhone 6 plus is now dubbed as Apple's biggest handset to date, thus, Christian Post reported that Samsung Galaxy S6 will surely have a bigger screen.
Though there is no definite display size yet, rumors said that it will be larger than Apple's 5.5-inch screen. Samsung's large display is also set to have 4K pixel resolution and quad HD, 1440 x 2560, Super AMOLED display.
Another notable improvement for Samsung's rumored new phone is its high speed processor. Galaxy S6 will reportedly have a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 graphics chip. This is clearly better than iPhone 6 plus' A8 chip with M8 graphics.
In terms of design, Samsung Galaxy S6 will also have the metallic body of their Alpha phone. The Korea-based company has clearly heeded their users request of a better made handset. iPhone 6 plus, on the other hand is made of Apple's signature aluminum casings.
Samsung Galaxy S6 will also have a more equipped camera than Apple's 8MP cam. The rumored latest phones predecessors has in fact better snapper than the iPhone 6 plus. Galaxy S5 already has a 16MP cam and knowing the tech-giant, rumors said the S6 might have a 20MP camera.
Apple's newest flagship phones already have the most-powered battery life that can last within 14 hours. Its storage is also augmented and now its biggest available memory space is 128GB. But this may not be enough because Samsung is also rumored to have larger storage excluding expansion option through its microSD card slot.
Both phone, on the other hand, are equipped with the latest operating system. Galaxy S6 is said to have Android's latest Lollipop OS while iPhone 6 series have Apple's latest iOS8.
In terms of price comparison, there are no definite rumors yet but Latinos Post cited a report that predicted Samsung Galaxy S6 will be more expensive than S5 which launched at $972. Apple price with contract is: iPhone 6 plus, with 128GB costs $599 while iPhone 6 with the same memory cost $499.
Christian Today also reported that Samsung Galaxy S6 may have an earlier release date contrary to early predictions that it will be launched on February 2015. The advance release is rumored to be because of the rave reviews and high sales of Apple's iPhone 6 series.
However, Samsung has not made any announcement or confirmation yet. The company claimed that they are now focusing in marketing the newly launched Note 4.
