Apple has officially released iOS 8.0.2, which is the second version of iOS 8 designed to repair major issues that were experienced by millions of users who have installed iOS 8.0.1.

Tech Crunch also stated that the newest update addresses the problem wherein third party keyboards would not stick whenever activate in the apps. This just means that this would default back to the stock keyboard of Apple. Alongside of the update, Apple has released a statement saying that the iOS 0.0.2 is ready for download. It repairs an issue that affect users of iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 who downloaded the first version of iOS 8, which is known as iOS 8.0.1 and this includes improvements as well as bug fixes that are originally in iOS 8.0.1. Apple also apologized for the inconvenience caused to iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6 users who are affected by the iOS 8.0.1 bug.

In the Apple Support page, iOS 8.0.2 contains bug fixes and improvements including:

  • Enhances the Reachability feature's reliability on iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6.
  • Repairs the problem where ringtones are not restored sometimes from the iCloud backups.
  • Fixes the problem that prevented several apps from accessing the photos from Photo Library.
  • Repairs an issue that might cause unexpected usage of cellular data when receiving messages.

According to Tech Radar, users who have already installed the recent update have no reports regarding some signs of major glitches. So far, the update works fine. The latest update for iOS 8 can be downloaded on all devices that are compatible with iOS 8. What users only need to do is to find Settings>General>Software Update to download the newest version of iOS 8.
