Fans to horror, action movies are in for quit a ride as there is one brewing in the oven and it is just at their doorstep. The Town that Dreaded Sundown is the movie in question here and as per the Inquisitor it is surely not going to disappoint fans. Many rumors and speculations about the film have been going around about this film that has left horror aficionados curious for quite some time. Earlier the Inqiisitr had mentioned of Ryan Murphy's update to the 1976 classic last year.

Looking back since that time, the show has really evolved as it has unleashed a batch of new stars that have joined the casting crew. This is an effort to diversify as veteran stars join Charles B. Pierce's classic Docu-horror film centered about a series of real-life murders that happened in Texarkana, Arkansas in 1946.The storyline of The Town that Dreaded Sundown which the press Dubbed as "moonlight Murders" entails a serial killer who was never caught which earned him the name The Phantom Killer and speculations tend to think that it inspired the hook-in-the-door urban legend if the Documentary Killer Legends is to be believed says the Inquisitr news.

Murphy, creator of American Horror Story revealed in a statement that he always looked into the storyline of The Town that Dreaded Sundown and found it to be frightening, but on a light note this film inspired a great deal the remake of Jason Voorhees' classic horror film Friday the 13^TH part 2. So going as per reports the film has inspired generations of film making and has done so much more for the filming industry. But this as per trending reports is just an understatement. It is quite an unusual move as per the Networks standards because the movie that is scheduled to play in theaters, the premium network has scheduled it to play on Halloween night at 8 P.M.
