Dear White People News And Latest Updates: Storyline of Dead White people Set on an Ivy League Campus
Since the creation of Blue mountain state, American comedy has grown exponentially and the recent instalment in the comedy genre is the campus comedy 'Dear white People'. The new movie, a Justin Simien's creation Dear White people is a leaving proof that so far we are not yet living in a 'post-racial America'. Though the movie has a campussetting, one will have to look past the all the competitions in class and all the economics that we cannot put a bid on let alone solve all the mysteries of life but our skin color defines us or defines how others may perceive us. And in this difference makes us more confused on what words to use to acknowledge our differences, explains Village Voice news.
A good example is when white people use the word 'black' instead of 'African American', this will just not urger well with most and just won't work. Dear White People has got to be one of the most audacious and sharpest comedies of the year this will just not make anyone more comfortable. But it has balanced out all as it includes the dumb, racist white guys who are used to clear out the confusion the movie although if the confusion does not comewrapped in cruelty or thoughtlessness. The producer, Simien has set the storyline of Dead White people on an Ivy League campus where many think and experience the quick harmony that the white kids and colored kids coexist in peace and in friendship.
Well as much as we want that to be the case it's all just an illusion which in the story line the producer has included a firebrand activist, Samantha White (Tessa Thompson) hosts a Campus radio station an in her talks she tackles the issue of the hypocrisy of the illusion in the campus. In one she explains of how one white person must maintain a specific number of black friends so that he/she not to appear racist. Reports Village Voice news. Simien has by far found many ways to create humor in the storyline that creates laughs which is still the reason that the movie will still get a high viewer ship.
