Tales From The Borderlands News: Gunplay Elements, Generated Guns, Loot Generation
Tales from the Borderlands is an upcoming adventure game, which is based on the "Borderlands" series. The adventure game will also feature the same format with episodes that Telltale has used for The Walking dead and The Wolf Among Us. It will be released with a number of episodes.
It is also revealed in IGN that Tales from the Borderlands will travel around and magnify on the stories of both the prevailing and brand new characters from the world of Pandora.
In the game, the player's decisions and actions will considerably influence the succeeding story elements. It will also feature the gunplay elements, specifically on the generated guns and loot generation, in which the Borderlands series is very known for.
Just like other games by Telltale, "Tales from the Borderlands" is also a point and click adventure game. The player will be capable of moving the character around the world's surroundings and dealing with other non-player characters and objects.
The game's storyline follows the conclusion of "Borderlands 2." The player will manipulate two different heroes, the con-artist Fiona and the data-miner Rhys. They will meet in the concluding part of the game, realizing the consequences of life on the planet Pandora following the downfall of Handsome Jack. The story also provides the opportunity to discover how the characters came together, while showing communal experience from the point-of-view of both characters.
Meanwhile a post on Sony's bog enlightens the fans on how broad the Borderlands universe actually is. Some gallant comparisons are also made.
"Gearbox's world is huge. The main Borderlands games and the DC have only scratched the surface; they've built a world that rivals Star Wars in its richness. That sounds like crazy hyperbole, but the details, the characters, and the history are all there. You just haven't seen it all yet."
The game is being enhanced by Telltale Games in partnership with Gearbox Software.

Its scheduled release is this late 2014, running on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. According to Video Games Blogger, the first episode of the graphic adventure game series is expected to arrive in the last half of 2014 in October or November.
