'Real Housewives of New York' Updates: Bethenny Frankel's Comeback Won't Happen if Jill Zarin Returns; RHONY Set to Move in Philadelphia
Bravo TV's reality show is set to start its seventh season. As rumors about the show's new chapter circulate, reports said a former housewife will return but not if another previous character will have its comeback as well.
Christian Post reported that Bethenny Frankel's comeback in "Real Housewives of New York Season 7" might not become a reality as the former 'RHONY' would not want to work again with another housewife - Jill Zarin.
Frankel and Zarin have been co-stars and friends in "Real Housewives" of New York's 2008 season. But it can be recalled that the two housewives had a major feud after Frankel got engaged to Jason Hoppy. Sources said Frankel does not want to work with Zarin again.
An insider said "Bethenny hasn't signed a deal with Bravo or the production company for Real Housewives of New York because she is refusing to come back if arch-enemy Jill Zarin returns." The 43-year old starlet reportedly wants to avoid reigniting "false drama in an attempt to recreate past."
The two co-stars, who have not mended their dispute after they have left the "Real Housewives of New York," are said to be cordial with each other already. A source said Frankel run into Jill, recently and the two housewives of New York "exchanged pleasantries."
Christian Today reported that the attempt to reunite the two housewives is Bravo TV's shot to reignite the feud between the two co-stars in order to increase its struggling ratings. An insider in "Real Housewives of New York" said that "producers need to shake up the cast because the ratings have just plummeted."
If ever Frankel and Zarin will make a comeback in "Real Housewives of New York Season 7," their past feud might interest viewers thus increase the show's rating. Bravo allegedly offered Frankel a whopping $1 million contract but as the star learned that Zarin will make a comeback as well, the starlet has reportedly rejected the offer.
On the other hand, "Real Housewives of New York" upcoming season will be moving to Philadelphia as reported by KdramaStars. Citing reports, some Bravo producers are reportedly seen in Phildelphia 'interviewing some of the city's most successful and glamorous women'.
Bravo TV producer, Princess Ann Banton Lofter, on the other hand did not confirm if RHONY will be having its local franchise in Philadephia.
There is still no premiere date confirmed for the upcoming "Real Housewives of New York Season 7."
