'Real Housewives of Orange County' News: 'Word Wars' Between Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney Continues - Season 10 Will Have Character Comebacks
"Real Housewives of Orange County" stars' word war continues and heats up after the former reality show star Gretchen Rossi hit Tamra Barney with strong harsh statements. E! Online reported that Rossi said her co-blonde reality show housewife is a "lying, manipulating, conniving and narcissistic sociopath."
The 35-year-old actress made her comments towards Barney during her live appearance in Watch What Happens Live last Tuesday. "Tamra Barnet has lost all credibility with everybody, including the viewers. She's the biggest lying, manipulating, conniving, narcissistic sociopath."
Ross explained Barney, who is currently still a cast in "Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 9, is a sociopath because the blonde star does blame games during the show without acknowledging her own mistakes.
When asked for three nice things that she can say about the blonde star, Ross said "She lies really good, she manipulates really well [and] she lies and tells everyone she is doing it just for the show."
Ross also slashed Barney's claims that the latter is only playing a fictional character in the present "Real Housewives of Orange country." The former housewife said Barney's claim can hurt the reality show. "When I was on the show, I was real. I was really me and I wasn't playing a character and I wasn't doing anything to make 'good TV,'" Ross said.
Tamra Barney, on the other hand, has not thrown a white flag yet. The 46-year old "Real Housewives of Orange County" reality star sent a note to Watch What Happens Live's host Andy Cohen during Rossi's live production.
Wetpaint said Barney's note states, "Did she come on just to talk about me? Tell her I said she looks beautiful and I wish her well and best of luck with getting pregnant." It now appears that Barney plays the word war in a passive yet smart way.
Instead of answering Rossi's harsh comments with equally negative words, Barney choose to touch a personal issue of her former "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-star. Rossi and her fiancé is reportedly having a hard time in terms of having a baby. The couple is said to resort to in-vitro fertilization.
Barney also posted a photo in Instagram that is obviously thrown towards Rossi. She posted "Holding a grudge is letting someone live rent-free in your head."
While the two "Real Housewives of Orange County" blonde stars continue their word war, Latinos Post reported the show's 10th season will have a couple of returning housewives and will retain its current roster of housewives.
There are also rumors that new characters will be included in the show's upcoming season including a new girl and a new friend. Reports also said that famous athlete's wives, specifically Kobe Bryant, are also being cast for "Real Housewives of Orange County" Season 10.
Currently, "Real Housewives of Orange County" is still airing its Season 9.
