NBC's long-time running Soap, Days of Our Lives has been one of the fan favorite series, it has over the years gone through many changes as new characters have joined in and has seen a twist in the story line but the thrill the soap has is still maintained all the same which has made it successful. The previous episode that aired on Monday had a sad twist to it as it saw Sami Brady saying goodbye to her husband EJ, who was laid out on a table at the Salem Hospital morgue after he was caught in the cross fire at the Salem Park where he was shot in cold blood, reports Christian Post Entertainment news.

But could EJ come back to life? This could be a possibility as once the news of his demise spread, more drama began to occur and in one instance the old DiMera phoned daughter Kristen with the instructions, "Tell her that time is of the essence." What could this mean? Kristen immediately went out and next she is shown she is sneaking into the Salem Hospital morgue where she finds her dead brothers body lying on the table. She pulls out a syringe with a mysterious liquid where she injects her brother's lifeless body with it, She Knows Soaps news reports stated.

When this scene was revealed, now fans were left wondering if EJ's death was real or not. On social media, this news was taken with a hint of salt as many speculations spread after this scene and the one that stood out the most was that some believed that EJ was intentionally put into a sort of Coma and the serum will wake him up from his slumber. Others still stood their ground as they claimed that the main character was out of the show for good following his death. This speculations caused a lot of uproar as many fans argued that the main character, EJ in this case deserved to go out in a bigger bang not this way.

TV fanatic pointed out that this move by the writers could have been a plot to get a chance to recast the role again for fresh blood in the show.
