Phil Keaggy Notable Quotes:

  • - "When I pick up my guitar, there are times where I feel the Lord just bless it. I feel a blessing in what I'm doing and that's just a result of wanting to serve him and please him." (from an interview with Crosswalk.com)

  • - "I was 100% musician, and then when I was born again, I belonged to Jesus before I belonged to my guitar. I feel, you can have Jesus without music and have peace. Conversely, if your music is without the Lord, your life in my opinion goes nowhere." (from an interview with cbn.com)

  • - "I'm sorry that I couldn't have been more loving toward people when I was a young Christian. I was so zealous and interested in winning them to Jesus that I forgot about loving them first." (from an interview with Harmony Magazine in 1976)
