Reclaim Movie DVD Release Date, Reveals, Rumors and Updates: Movie to Star Briana Roy and John Cusack
The movie reclaim was released on Video on Demand and was directed by Alan White. Alan has worked on a number of films including 2000's Risk and the 1999 movie Erksville kings. Reclaim is produced by Asia Tropical Films, Beijing Shuijing Shenlan International Media Co. and Garlin Pictures and distributed by Lionsgate Home Entertainment. The script was written by Luke Davies and Carmine Gaeta.
Steve and Shannon, a young couple, decide to adopt a child after Shannon loses the ability to have children. After getting their new Haitian daughter from International Rescue Adoption, an organization run by Reigert, for tens of thousands of dollars, they head to Puerto Rico for a mini holiday before returning home. There they meet Benjamin an American who seems particularly touched by their good will because he too was adopted. Benjamin takes an unusual interest in the couple and their child. One morning they wake up and the child is missing after realizing that the local police could not be bothered, the couple decide to find out what happened themselves. They find out that this is an elaborate scheme where adopted children are reclaimed and then moved to the next family and none other than Benjamin is the ring leader.
The movie is quite action packed with the little Briana Roy taking up her role quite well. Fans however feel that John Cusack could have chosen a better script but all actors who find themselves in less than amazing movies always justify their moves with the all famous line 'well I liked the script'. Cusack however has been liking a whole lot of the wrong scripts. It is all well and good that it went straight to video because it would not have made that much money in theatres but chances are fairly high that they will make a good amount in DVD sales. The movie is set to be released on DVD on November 18th 2014.
