Thor 3 News and Rumors, Details, Reports, Reveals and Updates: Thor to Give up Mantle as God of Thunder in Order to Rule Asgard

In 2011 Chris Hemsworth graced our screen and immediately won us over in the movie "Thor", the heroic god of thunder whose power emanates from the mighty hammer; with it he was invincible. He came back onto our screens last summer with "The Avengers" where he saw him without his hammer and finally Thor; Dark World which has got to be the cherry on top. The rumors flying around about the possibility of Thor 3 seem legit enough be considered spoilers. The ending in the movie Dark world should have been the give-away with the words "Thor will return."

However, the plot twists speculated to be in Thor 3 are massive. In the ending of Dark World Thor turned down the chance to rule Asgard and gives it to Loki does this mean that he is no longer worthy to wield the hammer? And where was Odin when all this happened? According to the Marvel comics Thor steps down in order to give way to a female Thor. However, while most characters return as themselves for example Chris returns as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis a lot of changes are rumored to happen to the story.

Thor may give up his mantle as god of thunder and pass it on to Sif while he and Jane Foster rule Asgard as king and queen which would not be a bad thing. Odin was revealed was killed by Loki who might cause Ragnarok by rattling the fire demon and lying to the Asgardians in order to frame Thor. Everything might change in Thor 3 which is a welcome twist compared to the many action scripts o the screens right now that all seem to follow the same script. However, we might have to wait for this one, it is rumored to be released in May 2017 and hold the title, "Thor: Ragnarök" is definitely the story line with this one.
