Bourne 5 Release Date, Cast, News, Spoilers, and more: Jason Bourne to cross paths with Aaron Cross

If there's one news to really cheer the fans of Bourne series, it's this: Bourne 5 confirmed! Yes, you read it right, Bourne fifth movie is now in the works and soon to set blockbuster records again when it hits the cinema. So now, the talk of the town is that in Bourne 5, Matt Damon's Jason Bourne may cross paths with Jeremy Renner's Aaron Cross.

Many had rejoiced when the original actor for the Bourne Series, Matt Damon had agreed to reprise his role again as a renegade spy. According to KDramastars, the actor had reached an agreement with Universal Studios. Aside from him, the original director of the franchise, Paul Greengrass will also be back for Bourne 5. It already sounds promising, doesn't it?

Bourne 5 is getting ready for filming as it is tentatively scheduled to kick-off its shooting sometime during the first half of 2015. If that goes without delay, we might be looking at a possible Bourne 5 release date by 2016. The problem with the schedule though is that the sequel to Bourne which stars Jeremy Renner is also due to be out in theatres at the time. Hence, the rumors of a possible crossover between the two films, but Universal Studios seem to be after widening the Bourne universe and not really on connecting them.
