Obama Credit Card Issues News and Reveals: Obama Proves it happens to Everyone as his Credit Card Declined at Restaurant

So President Barrack Obama decides that he's going take his lovely wife, Michelle Obama for dinner treat at Estela which is a restaurant in downtown Manhattan. I am guessing the evening was filled with extremely savory meal and light talk and merriment, (gentlemen, take a hint. Or two) and then the bill comes and without hesitation the President fishes out his plastic and hands it over to the young waitress. More light talk and a few minutes later, the same waitress reappears with, I am almost sure, a worried look and tells the President, who is now probably looking up to ask if anything's wrong and bam the waitress drops the bad news that the credit card's been declined. This is the part where you insert a blank-faced meme to represent the look of disbelief on the President's face at this point. But witty old Mr. President has a classic comeback about how he's pretty sure he's been paying all his bills. Luckily, The First Lady had brought along her card and ended up settling the bill for a meal that was initially meant to be a treat.

Apparently the real reason behind why the card got rejected in the first place is because of the long inactivity associated with it. The card providers had thought there was probably some sort of fraud going on and the President's card had probably been poached or something. They cautiously blocked it and unintentionally, (or intentionally. Who knows?), embarrassed the President at a public restaurant. Not just any president either, the President of The United States of America!

The whole incident goes as far as to tell us how human the President really is. He is just a regular guy who runs a massive-economy country and regularly takes his wife out to dinner and pays ALL of his taxes. He basically goes through what most other guys. Including getting his plastic rejected. This also shows the level of transparency in his government and that he is not exactly regarded as a god that's to be worshipped.
