Zelda Wii U Reveals, News and Updates: 2015 Game Provides Multiplayer Possibilities while Providing Character Description of Main Character
Nintendo is currently developing a Zelda game for Wii U, of which the title is "The Legend of Zelda for Wii U." the game was first development to be in development by early 2013 alongside the remake for " The Wind Waker." During the Electronic Entertainment Expo which happened earlier this year, Nintendo released the trailer for the new Zelda game and announced a 2015 release date for the game. Recently, the producer for the Zelda game for the Wii U, Eji Aonuma has stated the game is going to be more than just a single player experience. Apparently he is hinting the next game will be a multiplayer open world Zelda game.
He added, "When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That's something you will see in the future, maybe next year." The local multiplayer for the Wii U gamepad has already been confirmed for another Zelda game, and that means the possibility of a multiplayer main Zelda title is not too farfetched. Aonuma has also promised he is going to shorten the long tutorials that plagued earlier Zelda titles in an interview during the E3 earlier this year.
Similarly, Nintendo announced that the Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors will be available in stores as well as the company's eShop. According to Scot Moffitt, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of sales and marketing, "By combining The Legend of Zelda universe with the game play of the Dynasty Warriors games, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have created a legendary pairing." Aonuma claimed, when they created Skyward Sword, they really felt the need to make sure that everyone playing the game actually understood it. However, there is the understanding in hindsight, that when you go out and buy the game it is because you want to play it. Apparently, the game will feature a main character who looks a lot like Link but there are no confirmations yet on whether the game will really feature this hero.
