iPod Touch 6G News, Reveals and Release Date: Possible Delay Speculations for the Device Place Release Date in Early 2015

When Apple did not bother to include the iPod Touch 6G in the list of products that it announced at the event on 16^th this month, it disappointed a lot of the iPod fans. There were some techies expecting the tech giant would at least make an announcement on the upcoming device. That did not happen but there is hope of course for the release soon. Speculation on Apple's delay for the device implies the new release date will be within the first quarter of 2015.

Apparently, there are currently many products which are still in their development or testing stages and there are others who think Apple is currently doing tests for two different screen sizes of the iPod Touch 6G. This would suggest a similar release as that of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 plus. There are other reports which claim Apple is concerned about the possible pricing for the product. The iPod Touch is not a mobile phone and that means that network carriers will not be able to offer the device with a phone contract and help people purchase the device with installment payment.

The fans are hopeful though and are apparently looking forward to the purported features of the new iPod Touch 6G. According to some earlier reports, the enhanced iPod Touch 6G is going to be a complete entertainment device which should compensate the pricing Apple is about to dish out for this new installment I presume. As the iPod Touch is essentially a music player, people are curious to know what Apple can to do in order to make the device a complete package so to speak. There are some reports the new iPod Touch 6G is going to come available with better storage space than last time up to even 128 GB. There are also hints of Retina display available in the Mac and of course Touch ID.
