WWE 2K15 News and Updates: 2K Sports Skips on Face Scanning Feature but Introduces New Superstar Creation Tool Allowing Gamers to Upload their Personal Images
WWE 2K15 PlayStation 4 and X Box One versions did not come available with the face scanning technology, but it has something quite as good. On Monday 2K Sports announced the new Superstar Studio feature which everyone currently talking about the game is going on and on about. Apparently the feature allows the gamers to upload an image of them to the game to be used as the facial model for the created Superstar. In the trailer which was recently released and narrated by the art director of the game Lynell Jinks, it is advised gamers use one of the more preferred photo-editing tools in order to create transparence after taking an image of themselves.
At the time, the user's image gets uploaded to the game; the fans will need to fit the image of the face of the created Superstar in order to generate a customized face. Similarly one can make their custom tattoos. You will also be able to upload any image in order to create a completely unique tattoo. For example, Jinks character in the video has a Hulk Hogan tattoo which covers much of the torso region. Truth be told, the new features are not as glamorous or dynamic as compared to face scanning, but it is quite a step up in regards to creativity.
The ability of the gamers to upload an image will give them room to create more accurate Superstars who are not a part of the game roster and who identify to them individually as players more than avatars. It increases the intensity of the game exponentially. The fact, there are only 23 created Superstar slots limits the room to expand your WWE Universe. At the moment, foreseeable drawbacks in the tattoo and attire customization portion of the new feature. The ability to make an original tattoo has received a lot of positive reviews as yet for example. The same can be said concerning adding custom images to shorts, kick pads and more. The addition of face scanning maybe something 2K Sports does down the road.
