Hallels: What's the goal of your new album? Do you have an album title yet?
No album title yet but the goal of this new album is to write songs that will reach everyone, not just the believer but the nonbeliever as well. We had a pretty powerful summer where God was constantly asking us "are we doing enough to build the kingdom" and we think that's gonna come through as we continue to work on these songs.
Hallels: Who do you intend to work with?
We'll be heading back to Gnome Studios where are very own Chase Weber will be engineering the album and co-producing it with the rest of us in Nashville, TN. He owns the new studio with a few guys and it's awesome!
We're all writing together but I continue to co-write with other guys in Nashville. We're trying to get the best 5 songs but want to have a ton to choose from when we go into the studio.
Hallels: What will be the style of music? Worship? Rock?
It will definitely be a CCM'ish pop/rock album with at least one worship song sprinkled in :). Definitely not a full on worship project though.
Hallels: When do you see it being done?
We hope to have it completed by early next year if we get the funding by the end of November.
Hallels: Are there any themes developing around the project yet?
We always seems to write at least one worship song as that's where all of our backgrounds come from. A lot of themes about showing people the love of Christ in just our daily routines.
Hallels: Why should readers support this album? How does the album speak to people's lives?
We think people should support this album because we totally see it as a ministry tool. That's the point of why we do what we do. Radio is fun, playing big shows is cool, but the point of all of this is ministry and leading others to Christ. This new EP is just another way to help do that.
Hallels: Any songs you have written you are excited about?
One song we've written is a pop/dance worship tune that simply encourages God's people to worship called "Lifted High". Another more ballady song called "Joy in the Waiting" talks about the awesome moments that can come from just waiting on God.
