The Perry Sisters Release "Telling the Story"
With 25 recordings and 34 top 40 hit songs to their credit, the Perry Sisters find their essence with this latest release, "Tellin' The Story." Today's Perry Sisters are Diana Perry Gillette, her daughter Nicole Mathews and April Carroll. With this lineup, the group remains true to their style and incredible harmony. Each member of The Perry Sisters brings a unique gift into the mix that contributes to a rich family heritage that has stood the test of time.
Diana's songwriting well has not gone dry, as she wrote all but one song on this recording, including five new songs and four older tunes. The first single release from this album is "Go Tell," which features the timeless message of the Gospel ministry that's reflected in its title.
As the album's liner notes say, "The Perry Sisters feel very blessed and honored to release our 25th album debuting on the Chapel Valley label. It is our hope and prayer that hearts will be blessed and spirits will be lifted." If you enjoyed them during the '80s and '90s, you will want this album for your collection. If you're not familiar with this group, it's time to get acquainted, and this is the recording you need to get.
