Austin and Lindsey Adamec Release "Victorious" Today
Husband / wife duo, Austin & Lindsey Adamec, releases "Victorious" globally today (March 16) through Wander Creative. Available now at iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon.com, Spotify and more digital and streaming outlets internationally through https://fanlink.to/Fja, the anthemic worship single is the duo's first new music in two years and since their CCM Magazine, Worship Leader Magazine and NewReleaseToday.com-acclaimed, self-titled EP (2016).
Recently premiering the declarative "Victorious" at Christ's Church (Jacksonville, FL), where they serve as worship leaders, and filming a companion video to launch soon, the couple shares the impetus for the new song:
"'Victorious' is a celebration of living a life in the presence of God and a song of praise for the victory that He has accomplished in our lives. No matter the season of life we find ourselves in, God has already accomplished all that we need by sending his son to die on the cross."
Taking the new music and favorites like "Maker of Miracles," "Walk on Waves," "It Is Finished" and more on tour, the Adamecs are featured this spring on the "Endless Hope Tour," a series of uplifting Prison Fellowship International-sponsored women's events with best-selling author and Women of Faith speaker Liz Curtis Higgs.
But the spring tour that launched March 6 in Plainfield, IL, almost didn't happen for Austin and Lindsey. Just last month, Lindsey suffered a torn ligament in her leg that needed immediate surgery. Doctors told her that it would be at least three-weeks before she could ride in an airplane and continue touring. This was heartbreaking for the couple, since they were scheduled to lead on the opening night of the tour just two-weeks later.
"Amazingly, after much prayer, Lindsey had the surgery and doctors were surprised at how well the procedure went," says Austin. "After only one week she was already moving her leg 60 to 70 degrees, which the doctors said was incredible. Just two weeks later, we were on an airplane and leading worship in Plainfield."
There's power in Your blood
We stand redeemed because You are victorious, victorious
There's healing in Your name
Through every season You will reign victorious, victorious
("Victorious" chorus)
With the tour continuing today in Martin, TN, and with tickets for the tour available now at iTickets, the Adamecs are also sharing from stage about the ministry of Prison Fellowship. This charity, founded by Chuck Colson, is in 120 countries and partners with 45,000 volunteers and 10,000 churches to restore justice and help prisoners, ex-prisoners, their families and victims of crime.
"I think Christians understand that we are to take care of widows and orphans, but I think we often forget about the incarcerated and their families," says Austin, who experienced leading worship with Lindsey for inmates at a level seven, maximum security prison. "It is amazing what God can do, even amidst these direst of circumstances."
Following today's release of "Victorious," the Adamecs are planning to release more new music in the months to come. For all the latest music news, tour dates and more information on Austin and Lindsey Adamec, go to www.austinandlindseyadamec.com, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
About Austin & Lindsey Adamec:
Worship leader, multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Austin Adamec and acclaimed vocalist, songwriter and former 1 Girl Nation member Lindsey Adamec released their self-titled debut EP in March 2016 amidst wide critical acclaim. Featured at the Evangelical Press Association's 2016 conference and on JUCE TV, Worship Leader says the duo's "well-crafted worship songs" and "sweet harmonies blend flawlessly." Jesus Wired adds that their EP is an "incredible breath of fresh air for worship music" while NewReleaseToday.com calls their music "powerfully honest worship" and CCM Magazine compares their "Walk on Waves" single to "Hillsong United's uber-popular Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)."
With all their songs telling the story of personal and spiritual victory and celebrating the presence of God, Lindsey shares, "We're just worship leaders from Jacksonville, Florida, who love to sing together, who are married, and who enjoy proclaiming all God is doing in our lives. If we're going to write about His presence, we have to go there. You can't take people where you haven't been."
