Francesca Battistelli Announces "The Breakup Tour" For This Fall
Following the recent release of her brand new single and video, "The Breakup Song," (Curb/Word Entertainment), multiple award-winning artist Francesca Battistelli is announcing plans to headline The Breakup Tour this fall, headed to 12 cities during the month of October with special guest Stars Go Dim. Presented by Compassion International, the tour heads out in mid-October and will make stops in Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and more (see full list of dates below).
The Breakup Tour is offering an early pre-sale option for tickets in most tour markets beginning at 10 a.m. local time today and running through 10 p.m. local time tomorrow (July 17). The public sale will be unveiled on Wednesday, July 18, at 10 a.m. local time. An exclusive, limited VIP ticket package will include a new album listening party with Battistelli, early entry for best seats, crowd-free merchandise shopping, merchandise discount coupon, limited edition Breakup Tour tote bag, limited edition Breakup Tour journal, VIP tour-only laminate and a copy of Battistelli's new album when released. Ticket and concert information is available at www.FrancescaMusic.com.
The Breakup Tour takes its name from the new single, a powerful anthem that says goodbye to fear ("Fear, you don't own me... you will never be welcome here."). The much-anticipated tour marks the first time in 18 months that fans will have an opportunity to see the GRAMMY®, GMA Dove®, and K-LOVE Fan Award winner on tour since Battistelli took some much-deserved time off the road with her husband and four children.
"I'm so excited to get back on the road this fall with new music!" Battistelli shares, speaking directly to fans. "It's going to be so fun worshipping every night with Stars Go Dim and all of you! This new music has been a passion project of mine for the past two years, so if you're ready to finally kick fear to the curb for good, then come join me for The Breakup Tour this Fall!"
