Reign Season 2 Spoilers: New Characters for the Second Season; Including Craig Parker from Lord of the Rings
The premiere date for the second season of reign has been set for October 2nd, along with the other CW flagships. The first season of Reign has taught us that the lives of the people in the royal court are never easy. The second season will also involve the plague which will be quite an issue. The new season of reign will feature some new faces in the French court for the current season. One of the main people of interest for the new season is Princess Claude who has been known to have an eye for mischief. Of course she has a veracious sexual appetite but her true motives are unknown as concerns the power plays. There is a chance that her return to the court has something to do with the passing of King Henry.
Queen Catherine who has been known to use her words as the best form of defense will begin sparring with Narcisse, who is actually described as being much older and he may get himself into trouble in this position. There are a few characters that will be introduced for the new season including Conde, or 'Prince of the blood'. The details about his role are scarce but he is going to get very chummy with Francis. Other characters include Craig Parker who played Haldir in the 'Lord of the Rings'. He will take over the role of Narcisse within the French court who will spar with the queen. This is also one of the characters that are bound to shake things up.
As for baby mama drama, now that Francis is aware about the love child that he has with Lola, it is quite unpredictable how things are going to turn out especially because of the plague. Things could blow over and she becomes his mistress. As for the noble fashion factor we can expect to see more of the sprawling country peasants while the high and mighty dress to impress.
