Hannibal Season 3: New Characters for New Installment, Possibly David Tennant and David Bowie
The third installment of the Hannibal series has not been confirmed but is speculated to be late in the year or early next year. The series is based on the Red Dragon novel by Thomas Harris where a forensic scientist is the wolf in sheep's clothing that is the serial killer of all serial killers with endless motive angles and can think in various psychotic paths at the same time. The second installment of Hannibal left both FBI senior officer; Crawford and Will Graham near death after individual encounters with the true essence of Dr Lecter. However, Hannibal is also bleeding.
The script must go one and series creator; Fuller said though, they are not yet dead, the series will not be confined to the dimensions of the book where some characters have to go one. Everybody is practically dispensable or something like that. The second season was about the molding of Will into a monster and it had an inevitability that showed Will steadily becoming a monster as Hannibal; the devil had crafted. The last season finale saw the falling apart of Hannibal and Will and the latter became a new man after being so close to death.
The third season will show Will trying to reassert who he is as the monster that Hannibal created or the tracker of killers. Hannibal is on the run however, it is clear that he misses Will because Will in so many ways is not just a friend but his greatest creation. As morally unhinged as he is, he is quite traumatized for what happened to Will even if it was his doing. The third season will also see the introduction of new characters to the cast including David Tennant (Doctor Who) which is at the request of Fuller himself as well as David Bowie (Harry Potter).
