Transformers 5: The Second film of the Transformers Trilogy
Transformers 5: The Second film of the Transformers Trilogy
Transformers is an American Science fiction series directed by Michael Bay. The robots themselves are based on toys created by Hasbro and Tomy. The first ever Transformers film to be released was in 2007 and it was warmly received by fans who have science fiction films on their list of favorite movie genres. The first film was followed by a second film (Revenge of The Fallen) release in 2009, a third (Dark of The Moon) in 2011 and a fourth (Age of Extinction) in 2014.
The first film begins with a teenage move that many are familiar with, buying a car to impress a girl. Sam Witwicky is this teenager who buys a car to impress Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) which they later come to realize that the car is no ordinary automobile. Apparently, the car turns out to be an alien robot from the planet Cybertron. Cybertron is the original home to these species of alien robots. Their home Cybertron was destroyed and amidst the chaos the planets life source, a cube referred to as the AllSpark crash lands on Earth several millions ago. As to every movie there are the good guys and the bad guys. In this film, the good guys are known as the Autobots who are led by Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen). On the other hand, the bad guys are led by Megatron (Hugo Weaving) and are known as the Decepticons
Fans will be excited to know that Transformers 4 is being considered to be the first in a new line up of the Transformers Trilogy. The director, Michael Bay, made known his intentions to continue the franchise of the Transformers film line up with a possibly a fifth and sixth film. The fifth Transformers film is expected to be released in 2016.
Although the Transformers films are going through a case of one man's meat is another man's poison, there are still positive reviews about the film and am sure many people will be excited to hear that this film will be continuing. We all just have to wait and see what the coming Transformers films have in store for us.
