Cameron Crowe Untitled Movie Builds More Anticipation as Sony Pushes Release Date Back till Next Year
Cameron Crowe is back with an interesting feature film that has not yet been given a title yet. Cameron Crowe is famous for some awesome films that debuted before 2000. This is guy that brought us Vanilla Sky, Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous, interested now? However, he has only given 3 films so far this century- We bought a Zoo. This came out in 2011. The next film was slated to come out in December but the release date has been pushed to May 29th next year. When you look at the cast, you will know why this is one movie not to miss out on. The likes of Emma Stone, Limitless's Bradley Cooper, Rachel McAdams, Alec Baldwin and Danny McBride will be part of the star studded cast.
According to the Sony marketing chairman, Jeff Blake when they saw the film, they immediately concluded that it would make for a perfect summer release. Crowe's films including We Bought a Zoo and Almost Famous both debuted in September as prestige pictures worth their salt. The release in May is not really his style, or could mean that the movie still needs some editing to hit the masses. All in all, a military comedy or romance would be better off released in the summer knowing audiences. As yet, there is a synopsis that has been given on the movie.
It is supposedly focuses on a Military contractor, played by Bradley Cooper, whom has been successful in his career and returns to reminisce on one of his greatest achievements which was the U.S. Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii. Apparently, he gets time to reconnect with his past love interest played by Rachel McAdams. At the same time, he starts to fall in love with an air force quality assurance officer assigned to him, and this will be played by Emma Stone. The larger picture will involve a complex satellite system which is being pushed to go online by an eccentric billionaire with suspicious motives: ominous. One cannot judge the movie from the details that are there but it is evident that this is one of the big ones even though it is coming out next year.
