Former Lead Singer of Anberlin Stephen Christian Reminds Us Our God is the "King of Impossible"
BEC Recording artist and former lead singer of rock band Anberlin Stephen Christian has released a brand new single "King of Impossible." Written by Tommy Iceland, Stephen Christian & Chad Carouthers, the song speaks of how nothing is too difficult for our God. "King of Impossible" is available now to download or stream.
Christian writes, "When what we see in the natural looks bleak, and when the world tells us everything is hopeless, we have a different perspective. What we can't see is more powerful than what we can, we serve a huge God who changes lives, circumstances, and even eternal trajectories. For those who hold steady to the faith, there's a new revival, there will be signs and miracles, they will see life from death and hearts resurrect because He is the King of impossible."
In 2014, the rock band Anberlin announced they'd be disbanding. Within two decades they sold over a million copies of their records, claimed a certified Gold single, and boasted multiple Top 20 hits on the Billboard 200 chart. Their extensive farewell tour offered one last show to fans across the world; from the US to Singapore, to Australia and the UK, Anberlin played from the 12-year old catalogue that immortalized them.
Here are the lyrics:
[Verse 1]
This moment, Your spirit
I wanna see a movement so vividly
We're running wild
We're running free
I can't explain, joy rushing over me
[Verse 2]
I'm ready for a move
I'm ready for Your love to wash over me
I want the sea
The ocean's deep
A wave within, crash down, cover me
[Chorus]
I believe there's a new revival, signs and miracles
Life from death as hearts resurrect
You're the King of impossible
Impossible
[Verse 3]
Come closer, I'm ready
To hear the words that You've spoken over me
I wanna burn
Light up the world
Live Your love, just like a wildfire
[Chorus]
I believe there's a new revival, signs and miracles
Life from death as hearts resurrect
You're the King of impossible
I believe there's a new revival, signs and miracles
Life from death as hearts resurrect
You're the King of impossible
You're the King of impossible
Impossible!
[Post-Chorus]
You're the King of impossible
You're the King
You're the King
You're the King of impossible
[Chorus]
I believe there's a new revival, signs and miracles
Life from death as hearts resurrect
You're the King of impossible
I believe there's a new revival, signs and miracles (Signs and miracles)
Life from death as hearts resurrect
You're the King of impossible
You're the King of impossible
You're the King of impossible
Impossible! (Hey, hey!)
