IPhone 6 Release Date! Apple Rumored to Change Smartphone Release Date Formula Launch on October 14

Apple's iPhone 6 is set to be unveiled at an event on September 16^th this year and this will be followed by a rollout which will take place on October 14 when it will be officially released to the market. These dates go against the usual tradition that Apple is known for its products because they are both on Tuesday's. This is a day when Apple announces the release of a product. Usually the rollout happens on Friday but this time, it is earlier during the week. The reason for this according to a source within Apple is that they want to accommodate the extra demand that is forecasted this quarter. Similarly, they have been doing quite well in terms of production increase. The third quarter has seen Apple make record breaking sales due to an increase in supply.

The dates are also weird in the distance from each other. It does not make sense to reveal the device and commence rollout within a month. Usually they have it done within a week. The time delay points to either lack of preparation or lack of mobile device supply to quench the market. However, it all remains to be seen as they claim that they have enough for the market.

The tech giant is expected to provide two versions of the iPhone 6 which will for lack of a better description be known as the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch versions. The phone will also come available with OS X Yosemite operating system and A8 processor. The camera will be10-megapizels with an f/.8 aperture. As for storage, Apple has presently set the ceiling to 64 GB; however, the iPhon6 may just boost that to an awesome 128 GB. Other features that should serve as luring traits include wireless charging, however, this is only speculative. There are more definitive rumors of a flexible screen for the iPhone 6, though.
