Penned, produced & mixed by Adelle, it tells the authentic story of the eternal love and grace of God working in your life before you knew Him. With relatable lyrics of worship and truth, it encapsulates the life-changing moments of receiving the gospel for the first time.
Adelle writes, "This song was birthed out of a place of reflection of all the times in my life when I didn't know God and I felt completely alone with my anxiety, depression and vices. But when I look back, I can see that God never abandoned me.
"Coming to know Christ has the best thing that has ever happened to me. To know His love, joy and His peace is something I can only hope could be described in this song. God changed my life. It's not a dead religion, God is alive."
