Final Fantasy 15 Release Date, Reveals and Review: Final Fantasy to be Released with Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and 3
Square Enix, the Japanese video developer has set the release date for the Final Fantasy game for March 2015. The game will be available for PS4, PS3, X Box One and PC modes of play. The game was originally announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo even in 2013 and coined as the Final Fantasy 15 version. It was set to be released this year however, the developers decided to move the release date to next year because of low expectations when it comes to game sales. Similarly, there is also a lot of competition for this game season.
The CEO of Square Enix, Yosuka Matsuda also added they are setting up the game so that it would be reach the fans expectations. Square Enix shared fiscal results for the year ending March 3rd. The results were reportedly positive but the game sales forecast were down from 12 to 17.2 million the past year. It is a bit surprising but the fact that they have not yet released their games lineup for the fiscal year that will end in March supports the theory that they do not expect anything big this year and will have something big lined up as of March next year.
At the same time, there are reports that Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 are going to have the same release date or at least they will be released during the same month. At this time, the developers are working quite hard for part 2.5 as well as 3 of the game to make sure that everything is in order at the time of the release. This will require a lot of time management skill and efficiency to release the three games by March or one will suffer at the time of release of get delayed further. Kingdom Hearts game director, Tai Yasue stated they had to divert attention to the third version completely, to gain some traction, before balancing things out.
