Jurassic World Release Date, Spoilers and Reveals: CGI to be Kept on a Minimum as Most Special Effects will Rely on the Animatronics
Michael Chrichton wrote the book and the screenplay, Steven Spielberg directed the movie, the world was left in awe. Three movies, countless games, millions of t shirts and billions of dollars later here comes a fourth movie. Jurassic World is missing both Spielberg and Chrichton but from what news on the street it will be just as good probably better. Jurassic World is set for release on June 12th 2015. Amblin Entertainment and Universal pictures have now been joined by Legendary Pictures to bring the much loved dinosaurs back to life.
This installment is not based on any Chrichton book but rather is based on characters in the books. It is set twenty two years after the first one and now the park is working as a dinosaur theme park as envisioned by John Hammond. New to the franchise are sea dinosaurs that come complete with trainers. Everything goes well until it stops. No doubt dinosaurs start running amok and scare children in cars and peer into labs and what not. The movie was mainly shot at Six Flags New Orleans, abandoned since Katrina no doubt providing the right ambience. According to Movieplot.com Twitter gave forth the news that production on the movie ended on August 5th 2015 and the movie is now in post production. All those expecting tones of CGI will be horribly disappointed as the movie big-wigs stated it would be kept at a minimum and special effects will be majorly dependent on animatronics.
It turns out that Spielberg had no plans of coming back to the franchise but was approached anyway. When they were turned down, Universal turned to Colin Treverrow whose work experience is rather sparse with only three movies with his name attached to them. Treverrow shall be wearing the hats of Director and Writer. This wild card is expected to deliver in a big way and keep the franchise going. Not a small feat but if Universal Pictures trust him who are we to doubt his abilities. We expect to see what Mr. Treverrow is capable of in June 2015 until then we shall wait to watch the trailer to see what to expect.
