Darkness Divided Drops "Written in Blood" on Aug 19; Watch Their Video Here
San Antonio quartet DARKNESS DIVIDED will be releasing their brand new Victory Records album "Written in Blood" on August 19th, 2014. Darkness Divided is not your typical metalcore act, they blend elements of heavy metal against the anthem-loving, sing-along roots of hardcore, while keeping true to their spiritual conviction.
Darkness Divided recorded "Written In Blood" at Alchemist Recording Studio in San Antonio with Cory Brunnemann. The album was written with the idea that despite the struggles of life, people prevail through a spiritual salvation with Christ, as echoed in the track "The Hands That Bled." Vocalist Gerard Mora comments, "We are incredibly stoked to be a part of the Victory Records Family! We've always been fans of Victory's roster, and it's a blessing to be included with the many talented bands that Victory has worked with over the years."
Joining the family with Mora are brothers Christopher Mora on guitar, Joseph Mora on bass and Israel Hernandez on drums. DARKNESS DIVIDED has developed an intense, high-energy live performance that has intrigued fans from clubs to festival stages across the United States, and has shared the stage with bands such as HASTE THE DAY, UNDEROATH, and FOR TODAY. Currently prepping for their debut's release, DARKNESS DIVIDED is keeping busy on the road, performing new tracks to packed venues of headbangers.
They have released their brand new video "The Hands That Bled". Off their Victory Records debut "Written In Blood," the first single is an emotion-evoking cyclone of sonic brilliance. Inspired by the ultimate sacrifice of Christ, the debut single provides a glimpse of an album that is technically purgative, notably haunting and heroic all at once.
