God of War 4 PS4 Release Date, Spoilers and Reveals: Sony Entertainment still Quite Cryptic about the Release Date, and Nature of Posters

At the present, there is no known news about the release of the fourth installment of God of War. However, the rumor mill is live concerning news about God of War 4. After all it has been a few years after the release of God of War Ascension which was released for PS3 platforms. There were some rumors that the announcement for the fourth installment of the game would be made at the E3 2014, but there were no announcements made at the event by Sony, so the release date is still up in the air, though, the rumor is that it will be available for PS4 versions soon.

The teasers for God of War 4 are still in development while the use for snippets, as well as heavy cinematic graphics is being executed.  The fans are also assuming that the fourth installment of this game will be the last because it is supposed to end with the death of Kratos. Apparently, Kratos is going to fall into the hands of Thor which will end in his demise, though there is still time for the plot to change slightly thus changing the fate of the series. This would be in league that the fifth installment is also in the pipeline. The other rumor is that the fifth installment will ultimately be a prequel to the entire series.

However, we are still hoping that God of War 4 will be announced in the near future. The series has always been a high seller and Sony will definitely need a God of War 4 title for PS4 platform especially because it seems that Microsoft is fast catching up with them. Sony was however, quite cryptic about the God of War poster and whether they have anything to do with the next installment of the game. They answered that the posters celebrate the legacy and what is for the future; therefore people will see what is going to happen.
