Game of Thrones Season 5 Release Date, Spoilers, Reviews and Rumors: The Fifth Season is Set to Air in Spring 2015
HBO certainly knows how to pick winners and but with Game of Thrones they certainly outdid themselves. The most pirated show of 2012 has spawned merchandise that includes games, clothing and several online parodies like school of thrones. The series which showed to a record 6.6 million viewers at the beginning of the fourth season has certainly come into its own beating The Sopranos as HBO's most watched series. The show has done so well that fans are now buying the books so they don't have to wait for the next installment to find out what happens so either way R.R. Martin wins. The fifth season is set to air in spring 2015.
What should we expect in season 5? Well first these white walkers keep showing up at the end of each series and never really appear anywhere else. Fans want to know if they will finally march on the North or whatever. According to the books a whole lot of people should be dead and we still see them walking about in the series but that's okay, we don't mind. With Cersei deciding that she wants to be with Jamie and everybody else be damned. The docile King Tommen who is everybody's sweetheart but ended the season with a murdered Hand of The King. Not to mention the fiasco going on at the Veil and Sansa going on a sea voyage thanks to her iron coin, will the handsome assassin make a return? Will Sansa become an assassin? What of Khaleesi and her rogue dragon that has now turned to killing little children? There is so much going on , so much that needs to be addressed, we can't wait for season five to see where all this is going.
The cast is quite full and there are no projected additions as at yet. R.R. Martins has his hands full however, with a sixth book in the works and his work on the fifth season. Fans are looking forward to season five next Spring to see where the story will take us.
