Mentalist Season 7 Spoilers, Reveals and Reviews, Plot Summary: Jane and Lisbon to have Closure for their Romantic Tension
The mentalist is set to premiere sometime in 2015, though the specific date for the release has not yet been released as yet. The end of the last installment had mentalist fans jumping up and down because their prayers had come true. The on screen romance between Teresa Lisbon and Patrick Jane was a long time coming and Jane admitted his feelings for her. The seventh season which is rumored to be the final season was skeptical at first but since the show runner Bruno Heller was bit cryptic on this topic but he clearly stated that the show required a feasible closure to the relationship between Patrick and Teresa, hence the seventh season.
The third episode of the installment is titled Orange Blossom Ice Cream, which is an indication of both Jane and Lisbon getting some time to concentrate on their relationship on account of their love for ice cream. It would be nice to see the pair go out for something mother than pursue the cases , especially after the conclusion to the Red John case. This will also reveal the true ambitions and personalities of the characters because all they have to do is deal with the relationship for the time being. Bruno stated ""The purpose of an encore is to get people leaving the theater happy and giving them what they want and hitting your marks as strong as possible".
While we wait for the premiere date for the next installment of the hit series, the titles for the first three episodes have been provided. Apparently, the first is titled; Nothing but Blue Skies which is self explanatory especially considering climax that was in the last season and the confession of Jane toward Lisbon. The new season should also see the introduction of a new character that will cause a bit of drama for Jane. She is Michelle Vega who will be an expert in weapons and tactics. She is quite adept at handling high stress situations.
