House of Lies Season 4 Release Date, Reveals, Rumors and Plot: What Next for Marty after Everything that Happened
House of Lies Season 4 Release Dte, Reveals, Rumors and Plot: What Next for Marty after Everything that Happened
Showtime would be telling no lies if they said House Of Lies is one of their new cash cows. The show which premiered on the 8th of January 2012 (with a rather steamy first 5 minutes) has become one of the choice programs to watch. The comedy drama based on the book by the title has had Don Cheadle nominated for six awards two of which he actually won. All we know about season 4 is that Showtime has given the go ahead. There is still no news about production but word on the street is that we should expect a 12 episode fourth season early 2015.
If you're a fan then early 2015 feels like forever away, considering the way season 3 ended. Marty successfully opened his own consultancy which was quite an achievement considering all the trouble he went through in season 2 to get it off the ground, for a minute there we all thought he wouldn't make it and resigned ourselves to the fact that maybe Showtime wanted to scrap the show. So he builds up his business and of course the one thing he desires most; Jeannie. He finally gets her and she turns around and gives away company secrets that lead to Marty losing his company (seemingly) at the end of season 4. Three of the most important questions fans have going into season 4: Will Marty lose his company? Is this relationship between Marty and Jeannie that we have waited for from season 1 episode 2 over? Will Doug somehow man-up and become something more than a talking extra that makes us laugh?
After season 3 there were rumors that the show had been scrapped, but then again these rumors fly around after every season. Somehow the show's writers seem to end each season in a way that is suspense filled and conclusive at the same time. Anyway, there is nothing indicating it has been scrapped and the show still has an active segment on the Showtime website, so that is encouraging. All we have to do is develop special waiting powers and wait till early 2015 to see Don Cheadle and his pod at it again, we hope.
