Rainbow 6: Siege Release Date, Reveals, Spoilers, and Plot: Ubisoft Uses Realblast Technology to make Combat more Realistic in Upcoming Game
Ubisoft revealed the multiplayer game Rainbow 6: Siege at the E3 event this year, practically stealing the show as everything about it was built for excitement. This is the game that you want to show off to the combat freaks. The release date of the game is currently slated for some vague 2015 date as the development is still in the early stages at the present. The game is to be available for PS4, X Box One and PC. The game is based on special forces operations with tactical methods and high end weapons, featuring extractions and high risk raids. From the multiplayer point of view, the players will have the choice of the direction they want to address the target from.
The teams are able to blow out the front doors with controlled explosions and rappel onto the roof of the structure from a helicopter, or in dive in through the windows. In fact, the teams can use unmanned aerial aircraft to conduct recon on the structures before conducting tactical assaults. The terrorists themselves are not defenseless though. As a matter of fact, they are heavily armed and have what would be perceived as a greater range of movement as compared to the CTU side. The terrorists are able to do such things like set traps, and explosives like trip wires around the structures. The main feature of the game is its shock value because it comes with the urban warfare, destruction setting that shows one, this is indeed not a joke.
As part of the trailer, fans were able to see a house in the middle of suburbia being shredded because of a gun battle. The Ubisoft's Realblast technology imitates bullet effects and physics. That means that pistols will not have the same effect as an assault rifle on a wall in order to make things much more realistic.
