True Blood Series Finale Recap And Ratings: The True Blood Series Sees Its 'True End' With High Ratings Having Significant Effect In The Viewership Of Other Series
We have the latest for you on the recap and ratings of the finale of True Blood Series. For the longest time the True Blood Series has been a fans favourite and has had great viewership and a huge fan base to go with it too. The Vampire-based drama has been on HBO for all its seven seasons and it came as a blow to its viewers that this amazing and sensational series would come to its finale in season seven. The news was announced with its final ten episodes yet to be showed. It was therefore not a surprise when the season finale hit a viewership of 4 million viewers as the season came to a pen-off. The figure was not too varied from the 4.14 million who watched the end to the sixth season of this series on the 18th of August last year and the 4 million who watched the season premiere of the seventh season. It is also amazing to note that the seventh season pulled a viewership of 5.8 million across all its plays. The sixth season was not also far off having had an audience of 5 million across all its plays. On average, the sixth season had 10.6 million viewers in gross audience while the seventh season got 9.4 million on average gross audience.
It would also be interesting to note that the finale of the True Blood Series had a very significant effect in the viewership of other series with the most notable one being 'the Leftovers' with a new viewership of 1.9 million on its premiere. 'The Knick' directed by Steven Soderbergh also saw a hike in its viewership to almost 870,000 viewers with its season premiere having only hit 574,000 viewers when it was premiered on August 22. It is clearly obvious that the bewildering Vampire drama, the True Blood Series, will be greatly missed as so will be its cast and its two directors Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer. With the kind of averages we can see from the last two seasons of this series it is easy to tell that HBO will once again have to pull a new trick from under their sleeves to ensure that they either create a new series with equal fan base and viewership or ensure that at least one of the existing ones hits the levels reached by the True Blood Series.
