Dying Light Release Date, Reveals, Reviews and Rumors: Game Play Trailer Released at the Gamescom Event in Cologne
Dying Light is an upcoming game which is from the creators of the Dead Island series. Yes, you guessed it; this is an open world zombie slasher series as well. The release date for the game has thus been slated for February 2015. More or less the game which is a role playing structured franchise has a lot of similarities to the dead island series. For example there is a huge arsenal of weapons from which to choose and the good thing is that they can be customized in order to fit into different configurations and tactics depending on player preference. One has the option to level up the skill attributes and the higher that the player's level goes, the more things you are able to unlock, the same way the player ascends in structured games.
Apparently, the game is going to be available for platforms X Box One, PS4, PC and PS3. The game was supposed to be released around Christmas time this year, but the release was delayed until early next year as aforementioned. Techland, the developers of the game stated in an interview that they understood just how much anticipation there was for the game but they are sticking to their decision for the February release. They also wanted to create an open world game as they were apparently were not going to sacrifice the quality of the game.
The Gamesom event took place in Cologne Germany last week, and Techland released a brief trailer of the game play. The game trailer illustrated a few different environments which exist in the open world of the game. The whole of this footage takes place in an urban setting. It seems that the development team for the game has done it s part in keeping the environments diverse as possible. The game play has the players navigate the game world using first person shooter controls that accompany parkour-style movement.
