Dying Light Game News, Reveals, Spoilers and Review: Game Developers Incorporate New Natural Movement Aspect into Game Play
Dying Light is an upcoming zombie slasher game which is slated to premiere in February Next year. The game will be released to all of the major console versions including PS3, PS4, X Box One, and X Box 360 as well as PC platforms. According to the latest reports it seems that game developer, Techland has released a development diary which is responsible for the game's free running elements or what the developer would term in lay mans terms as the natural movement. Apparently when they studied the other first person shooter games, they got the feeling that sometimes the play may not have ability of free movement.
The lead game designer, Maciej Binkowski said that they originally tried to put a variety of props in the environment which would allow the player to climb various structures however; they realized that they were going about the issue the wrong way. There is a trailer of the game which shows the game play with the ability of the improved natural movement. In the trailer, the game play dynamics enable the player to basically climb anything in the game. At this time, the most impressive thing about the game play is how seamless it works the transition of the players movement from tops of buildings to high wires and on to other roofs looks seamless. This makes it easy to hunt and kill zombies because of easier movement 360 degrees especially when the player is stranded on the roof with the undead closing in fast.
The other attractive thing which is featured in the game play is how the player will be able combine attacks on the zombies with running and the natural movement aspects. This game play is so realistic the player can do such things like zip line from a building to another and land while slashing a zombie on the roof. The freedom of movement should make for some really breathtaking moves that will definitely bring thrills.
