GoPro Hero 4 Release Date, Rumors, Reveals and Review: New Information Available about Specs and Features

The GoPro is a small and durable camera which can be used to take action photos and can be worn as a helmet cam (military style) or around the neck. The GoPro Hero 4 can record videos at a lower resolution but it will result in a higher frame rate - 1080p at 120fps. This is going to allow the users to record full HD videos at smoother rates, especially considering high speed sports and activities. There are reports that the GoPro Hero 4 will be released in October, but the date has not been officially confirmed, however, the Hero 2 and 3 were both launched in the fall seasons of the past consecutive years.

Apparently, the new GoPro Hero 4 has been rumored to come available with a 13-megapixel photo-sensor which is going to enable the camera to take both photos and videos in the dark. This will be quite handy in the case of late night racing clips, and other activities. The camera is also expected to come with a plethora of other interesting features like multi exposure and HDR WDR tone mapping. There is also electronic image stabilizer and improved MCTF. Apparently, the camera is going to come available with a waterproof housing with a flat lens feature for underwater shots up to 60 meters deep. The GoPro Hero 4 is expected to come available dual-core A9 and a 1GHz ARM Cortex processor which is apparently better than the specs of the GoPro Hero 3.

It is expected that the camera will have the ability to capture still images in video shoots and could support MP, BP, MJPEG as well as, HP Level 5.1formats. the GoPro Hero 4 is also going to come available with Wi-Fi preset, HDMI port. The camera is going to host a Cortex A-9 processor chip and an FPU accelerator which is for the best quality. The GoPro Hero 4 is expected to retail at about $340.
