Sleepy hollow is an American supernatural/police drama television series that premiered on the September 16^th 2013. The series airs on Mondays at 9:00pm ET on Fox TV. The series is considered a modern day remake of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving. Since its premier that took the box office by storm, the series has been nominated for more than one award. NAACP image awards for outstanding actress in a drama series, People's Choice Awards for best TV drama and Saturn Awards for best network series. Just after closing the curtains on the first season last year, sleepy hollow's season 2 is set to premier on the 22^nd of September.

In season 1 we left off with Ichabond buried alive; Abby trapped in purgatory; Katarina, Ichabond's wife; captured by the headless horseman; Capt. Frank Irving behind bars for crime he did not commit and Jenny , Abby's sister, in a gruesome car crash. All this set in motion by one person, Henry parish, who turns out to be the long lost son of Ichabond Crane. THW Min question fans carry into season 2 is how Abby will escape purgatory now that Ichabond is not available to save her as. In the first season, we are introduced to the fact that Ichabonds life is linked to that of The Headless Horseman's hence he can't die with this in mind we wonder how our hero will escape his grave and save the damsel.

The Executive producer Mark Goffman in a recent interview with TVLine revealed that the second season was going to take the viewers by surprise. With that in mind, there is not much anyone can do but keep guessing what to expect in the upcoming season. However, it is safe to say that the viewers will be in for their fair share of surprises.
