Avengers 3 News and Spoilers, Reveals and Review: the Rise of SHIELD and the Split of the Avengers
Earth's mightiest heroes are bound to assemble for a third time and their fans can't wait to see what or who they will be fighting against this time round. Marvel has been able to produce this franchise successfully and we are sure Avengers 3 will be a smashing hit if history is anything to go by with.
The Avengers will be seen teaming up with Guardian of the Galaxy as they will battle Thanos. This film has been able to invite a lot of speculation but then again, it's hard not to speculate especially for such a waited on movie. Even though there has been a lot of speculation about the storyline, actor Chris Hemsworth is reported to have said this about Thor 3 "Armageddon aspect is probably the direction in which it will all head in."
We do know that the 3rd Phase of Marvel Cinematic Universe will have cessation of a number of key characters. Most of them have been confirmed that they will be coming back to play their familiar roles as Chris Evans comes back as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr as Tony Strak/Iron Man and Chris Hemsworth as Thor. There have been rumours that Dave Bautista will be features in the film and that will be given a significant role as Drax the Destroyer.
As for the story, it does seem to make a lot of sense 'spoiler' alert people. The plot revolves around the Superhuman Registration Act. The public has grown tired of having incidences where they are in danger because of some of the superheroes which have led to death and distraction hence wanting everyone who has be put on a register so that the government can monitor and if need be restrain then from causing any more damage to the public. Of course this does not go well with some of the superheroes and they begin to pick sides. Captain America particularly disagrees with the overbearing nature of SHIELD. However Iron Man on the other hand sees fighting against the new rules is pointless as these measures are good and should be welcomed. His believes are also shared by Ant Man.
With that said a battle line is drawn and the superheroes pick sides and this get to a point where Captain America disables Iron Man armour and sucker-punches him while having what seemed to be a friendly discussion. This prompts Iron Man into building a prison called Project 42. Any superhero that does not comply with the rules is brought in and locked away which firmly sets them against each other. Well this war does not end that well as Captain America dies as he is shot by Crossbones acting under orders from Red Skull when Captain is leaving the courtroom after surrendering and being put in jail. This ends the Civil War as it is declared over.
