Pixels Movie Release Date, Reveals, News, Teasers, Reviews and Plot: Aliens Misinterpret Video Games for Declaration of War  

Happy Madison in conjunction with 1492 Pictures shall be releasing the movie Pixels on June 2^nd of 2015. The movie is a 3D live action/computer-animated film, which is really a fancy way to say that there shall be a whole lot of CGI in it. Chris Columbus whom we know from The Help, Night at the Museum and three of the seven Harry Potter movies is the one entrusted to direct this project. The flick is directed by the long lost Adam Sandler alongside Chris Columbus, Allen Covert and Mark Radcliffe. The movie is based on an internet short film of the same name that was released in 2010

The movie has a pretty interesting a unique plot. Aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games like Donkey Kong and Pac Man as a declaration of war. They decide that they will use our own 'techniques' against us and attack earth using the attack models from the games. The president of the United States then calls on his childhood friend, a 1980's video game champion who leads a band of old school gamers that save us all from the impending doom. The plot is reeking of Adam Sandler type comedy and plot development, not that we do not like Mr. Sandler but comedy has developed a lot and is not just funny voices and funny faces. Today's viewer has a better developed palette and is expecting a little more mental stimulation.

Even before we say it you know that Adam Sandler will be playing the old school gamer that comes out of retirement to save the world. In addition to acting and producing Adam Sandler also developed the story. Kevin James shall be taking up the role of the U.S president. Other names on the cast list include Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox and Jane Krakowski. The movie was shot in Toronto with parts of the city modified to look like New York.
