They are given full and direct authority by the United States' President and their mission is to save what remains from this tragedy.
The Division is said to have been inspired by true events and also by the movie I am Legend that starred the well-known Will Smith. It is a post-apocalyptic horror movie where a disease was spread causing a city to fall on its knees.
