This Is Where I Leave You Movie Rating, Review: Book Written By Jonathan Tropper Who Eventually Turned Into A Screenplay
It is going to be impossible for a movie not to be funny when Tina Fey is part of the cast. Last September 19, was the promised date for This Is Where I Leave You brings a different kind of comedy in a family setting.
It all started when one family's dad passed away and all his children had to be all together for a week. It was a chaotic week for them knowing that they have to be living with their mother who shares too-much-information and not all that, because they all have to be bear with each others wives as well so you can imagine the drama and conflict that could arise.
This Is Where I Leave You is originally a book written by Jonathan Tropper who eventually turned into a screenplay. It revolves around the lives of siblings namely Judd Altman (played by Jason Bateman), Wendy Altman (played by Tina Fey), Philip Altman (played by Adam Driver) and Paul Altman (played by Corey Stoll). Each of the characters in this movie is peculiar so you won't have a problem suffering from dull moments. It is a family reunion like no other.
Michael Giacchino is the music scorer and a soundtrack album from this film is actually going to be in the market. The music will be under WaterTower Music Production.
Reviews about this upcoming film are mixed because some of them thinks the writing is not that amazing but since the talents involved in it are big names in the industry, that alone has made up on whatever the weakness they see in the storyline of the screenplay. So if you want some comedy this month of September, catch This Is Where I Leave You on the 19th and you surely won't regret it.
