After a bit slowdown for Samsung in releasing high-ends, the company finally has taken a comeback and revealed a new addition to its smartphones. The announcement happened in Samsung's Unpacked Episode 2 IFA 2014 in Berlin where it surprised everyone with its new products Galaxy Note 4, Gear S and the Galaxy Note Edge.

Note Edge is the giant company's high-end version of the Galaxy Note. Samsung fanatics will surely be happy to have the latest offer with the phone's cutting edge screen display, sleek metallic design and an improved software feature.

Galaxy Note Edge Release Date is set Oct.17 in the U.S. with pre-orders starting Sept.19. The phone will be accessible through 4 U.S. retailers Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.

Still Samsung hasn't announced yet Galaxy Note Edge Release Date. It is also reported that the phablet won't be available in UK during its launch but will accessible in Germany and the Netherlands.

Note Edge stands out with its 5.6in Quad HD (2560x1440) Super AMOLED screen with a unique 160-pixel curved edge. It is equipped with a 16 MP rear camera and a Smart OIS and a 3.7 MP front camera with an f1.9 lens and Wide Selfie mode.

It has 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, and 3GB RAM and 32- or 64 GB of storage. Buyers can purchase the smartphone in two variants, Charcoal Black and Frost White.

What users will also appreciate with Note Edge is an improved 3000 mAh lithium-ion battery that features fast charging. It permits the phone to go on charging from zero to 50 percent in as fast as 30 minutes.

Galaxy Note Edge is expected to be available in such a hefty price. It is reported to be priced at $1,000 while a Dutch retailer has offered it at €999.
